View of Eppan

Situated on a hill just west of the Gleifhof, at the end of the Calvary, a chapel looks gracefully down on St. Michael: the Gleifkirche. This picturesque church build in the 18th century, gives your vacation-home its name and is our guests’ very popular travelling destination around the whole year.

The Gleif-chapel is dedicated to the “painful Madonna” and is the 10th and last station of the Via Crucis. The wood sculptures of the Via Crucis chapels were made by sculptor Anton Rainalter of Bozen.
